The rest home “ALPINA” is in the
center of Tsaghkadzor town giving a possibility to relax, to
have a rest from the urban bustle, to get a charge out of
the mountain energy and enjoy the crystal pure air.
TSAGHKADZOR
Tsaghkadzor is town situated on the
Eastern slope of the mountain Teghenis at a height of 1840 m
above sea level at a distance of 55 km from Yerevan, capital
of Armenia and 70 km from the international airport
Zvartnots. The town has a temperate climate possessing
sanitary properties. The average temperature in Winter is –5
degrees centigrade, the average annual fall – out is 600-700
mm, the quantity of sunny days is more than 300 days. A
modern three-stage cable way operates on the slope of the
mountain Teghenis with the length of 4500 m constructed by
the Italian firm “Lightner”
